What I Stand For
Public Safety
As a mother, business owner and resident of Murrieta, Lori Stone understands the importance of prioritizing public safety. Public safety starts with working with our Police and Fire to ensure they have enough funds for equipment and trainings to keep Murrieta as one of the safest cities in the nation!
Quality of Life
Lori Stone has been a voice for decades when it comes to social issues. She has been an advocate for the homeless, domestic violence and sexual assault awareness, as well as those who have been affected by cancer. As a business owner, Lori understands that the expansion of business and job growth MUST be a priority for the City of Murrieta.
Our Military
Lori is the proud mother of two sons, her eldest currently serving the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant and her youngest a Veteran, served for nine years in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program.
Her boys are fourth generation military. As a PROUD AMERICAN, she will support our wonderful Murrieta’s Veterans Program and other non-profits that serve our veterans wholeheartedly!
Accomplishments
- During the pandemic, Lori brought forward a resolution declaring that ALL businesses in Murrieta are essential as long as they follow public safety protocol. She was furious that the Governor chose the businesses he felt were essential, and NOT all businesses. Lori is a fighter, and she will continue to fight for the businesses in Murrieta.
- Lori created the Southwest Elected Women Collaborative, which includes the cities of Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, and Menifee. Her goal was to have a region that advocates for traffic, water, and higher education.
- Lori has advocated for mental behavioral health in the City of Murrieta because of lack of resources and services readily available to our residents. She fought for an ADHOC committee to address this national crisis on a local level. After much debate with her fellow colleagues, the City of Murrieta voted to approve Care Solace, which is a 24/7 resource center for Murrieta residents, Emergency Room Doctors, and Public Safety. Lori is a true champion!
